Old German Violin

This nice old German violin was made for the First National Institute of Allied Arts in America, a company out of Los Angeles that in the 1920’s -40’s imported and sold stringed instruments. The instrument is well made with attractive even-flamed maple for the back, ribs and neck, natural light antiquing and wear throughout, and benefiting from recent set-up including new ebony pegs with Parisian eyes and a Wittner tailpiece. The volume of this instrument is pleasing and the tone is very clear.
